JCS Mark 30 Trip Wire Paintball Mine is black anodized. See below, because we also review the optional key-chain remote electronics pack later. The mine includes 6 inch stainless leader for hookup of trip thread.
The MK30 trigger is VERY sensitive, yet stable. A fine sewing thread is all that is required to activate. The Mark 30 is the closest thing you'll find to calling in an air strike. The JCS Mark 30 uses one 12-gram Co2 cartridge to effectively spray 710 square feet in about one second. So, for only $147.95, this grenade won't break the bank - if you're loaded. But, it will be a bit more than a burger and fries so you should think about saving some of that lawn mowing money! |

JCS Mark 30 Key Chain Remote Upgrade Kit is black anodized and is designed to work with the Mark 30 trip wire paintball mine. See above for the review of the actual mine.
The MK30 remote trigger is pretty cool because you can activate the mine by pressing a button on a key chain. Obviously, this mine is intended to be used only in regulated paintball games. But, you can see how great this tool would be to have in a paintball battle. The obvious drawback is cost. This remote units is an additional $199.95, so start saving your pennies! I suppose the most importnant thing to just to make sure you save your money faster than your paintball enemies. |

www.HowToMakePaintballGrenades.com is another specialty paintball website with complex, advanced tactics including a heavy focus on the use of paintball grenades. Since we focus on paintball mines, you can imagine that we are drawn to the topics of this website! They are still under construction, but all indications from the owner is that he plans to deliver some great content.
Grenades used in the game of paintball are most common in big battle event. You may find that paintball grenades are not allowed in most of your basic paintball games. When you get the chance to play in one of these bigger wars, then you have to make sure you arrive with good grenade knowledge! The topic of safety has to go hand in hand with the thought of using grenades of any type, and in this case even though they are designed to throw paint (without shrapnel, of course) they can still be dangerous if not used correctly. The site includes a lot of images and grenade-related videos and we expect they end up rolling out a discussion board in the near future. As far as we know, the site is under construction, but if you are thinking about learning how to make paintball grenades, you have to visit often to catch all of the new content as it goes live on the site! |
